The Danger Of Conformity: Why Do You Try So Hard To Fit In When You Were Made To Stand Out?

The apostle Paul wrote in Romans 12, "I urge you therefore by the mercies of God to present your bodies as a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God, which is your spiritual act of worship. Do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing of your mind that you may demonstrate what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect."  What you do for a living is not your purpose. It only provides an opportunity for you to demonstrate your purpose. So many Christians and Christian churches have lost their distinctive calling as God's witness to a lost and dying world. We are not called to conformity.
